Ride
for Hope
2nd Annual Ride to Find a Cure was held Sunday, September 10th,
2006
To Benefit Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation
On Sunday September 10th the Ride for Hope
proceeded from Killer Creek Harley Davidson, in Roswell, GA, to
the Preserve at Sharp Mountain, Jasper, GA. Some 150 people participated
- tripling last year's attendance.
The purpose of the ride was to raise funds for brain tumor research.
Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation President Stan Epperson has
commented, "We are very fortunate that passionate, dedicated
individuals like Robin Robinson and her team share our hopes of
finding a cure for brain tumors. Our thanks go to all who participated."
Afternoon activities included
- A barbecue lunch sponsored by The Preserve at Sharp Mountain.
- Live Entertainment by Don Law.
- Silent Auction including signed guitars, sports items, &
music memorabilia provided by
All Star Enterprises.
One rider was overheard commenting "Best ride I've been on!"
