SUMMARY:Race for Research
DESCRIPTION:The Race for Research\, our annual fall 5k race\, 1k fun walk/run held in Atlanta\, Georgia\, provides hope for the advancements in brain tumor treatment. The success of this annual fundraiser enables us to fund vital brain tumor research. Each fall over 1\,000 people join together as a community to bring awareness and hope to those facing a brain tumor diagnosis. Funds raised are used to support research grants looking for a cure. To learn more\, visit SBTFrfr.com. \nRegistration is NOW OPEN for the Race for Research! We can’t wait to see your face as this will be an in-person event! We are monitoring current CDC and City of Atlanta guidelines for COVID-19 protocals. At this time\, we are planning the Race as an in-person event. We understand some may not feel safe joining us in -person and encourage those supporters to either donate or participate as a virtual runner. If we have to change the format of the Race\, we will announce the change via email\, social media and our Newsroom. \nRegister for the 1k or 5k run/walk\, kids tot trot\, as a volunteer or as a virtual participant. \n  \nRace for Research photos will be available for free download approximately two weeks after the Race.
