Celebrating 27 years of supporting the brain tumor community

Each year on June 25th we celebrate the creation of the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation in 1995, meaning this year we celebrate twenty-seven years of serving the brain tumor community. What started with one family looking to find resources for their son has evolved into a Foundation that’s awarded almost $3,000,000 in research grants and almost $100,000 in scholarships along with hosting support groups and providing resources for those facing a brain tumor diagnosis.

To celebrate our birthday we created a “wish list” of items commonly appreciated by patients. We invite you view our Amazon Wish List and purchase an item (or 27 to celebrate our 27th!) which will be sent directly by Amazon to our staff to create care bags for patients. The list includes items such as hard candy, Biotene mouthwash, lip balm, puzzle books, journals, blankets, masks, fuzzy socks and more. As an alternative, you can make a monetary donation to support this effort. Bags will be distributed to brain tumor patients receiving treatment at local metro-Atlanta centers.

We’d love to create 270 of these care bags for the brain tumor community in celebration of the twenty-seven years of the SBTF, won’t you lend a hand?
