The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation Race For Research
Since 2000, the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation has hosted the Race for Research in the Atlanta area. The first race was held in north Atlanta and featured local NBC meteorologist Chris Holcomb as the host. Since then, the Race has grown to over 1,000 participants and has raised almost $3,000,000 to support the brain tumor community.
The event features a tailgating atmosphere with teams setting up tents and sharing WHY they support the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation. We celebrate survivors, caregivers and current patients with the Wall of Honor and Survivor Tree.
We partner with local treatment facilities to share information and resources with our participants.
Our opening and closing ceremonies highlight our top fundraisers, long-time supporters, sponsors and volunteers. We love to see our participants return each year.
